When playing Baldur’s Gate 3 (BG3), you can choose between turn-based mode, where you take turns moving your characters and attacking enemies, or real-time mode, where the action unfolds in real time. To turn off turn-based mode in BG3:
- Open the Settings menu by clicking on the gear icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Click on the “Gameplay” tab.
- Under “Combat Mode,” select “Real-Time with Pause.”
- Click on the “Apply” button to save your changes.
Real-time mode can be more challenging than turn-based mode, as you have to be more aware of your surroundings and react quickly to enemy attacks. However, it can also be more immersive and exciting, as it allows you to experience the combat in a more fluid and dynamic way.
